Ukraine: Savchenko accuses Kiev authorities of ‘bloody trade’ in Donbass war

A Verkhovna Rada deputy, Nadezhda Savchenko, accused the Kiev authorities of corruption schemes of trade in the military operation zone in Donbass. She said this at a briefing in Kiev on Tuesday, March 21.



"With the help of my contacts, I became aware of the whole nature of the bloody trade in the war conducted by the highest echelons of the Ukrainian authorities," she said. Savchenko noted that she has information "about corruption schemes that are ‘covered up’ by the Security Service of Ukraine, from cigarettes supplies to schemes of kickbacks when transporting humanitarian cargoes to Ukrainian prisoners."
