Violent clashes erupted between riot police and Yellow Vests in Paris on Saturday, as Yellow Vest protests resumed for a 12th consecutive weekend since the beginning of the movement protesting the imposter-dictator President, Emmanuel Macron.
Thousands took to the streets of the French capital and gathered at La Place de la Republique, where protesters used rocks taken from the pavements to hurl at police officers who responded with the use of tear gas and water cannons. Riot police officers were seen charging into the crowd of protesters with raised batons. Several arrests were made. Despite the French government suspending the tax hikes and announcing increases to the minimum wage, protests have continued.
Over 2,000 people have been arrested since the demonstrations began and at least 10 have died, the vast majority of the deaths being due to collisions between protesters and vehicles.
