Russian-Ukrainian Meeting in Paris Over Ukraine Civil War Produced Few Results

We're going to talk about the highlights. The Paris meeting is over. The Normandy Four spent nine hours together. Putin and Zelensky had a 75-minute-long face-to-face talk. Ukraine demanded the impossible — to close the border, meaning to remove the Donetsk Peoples Republic and the Lugansk Peoples Republic from there and replace them with troops loyal to Kiev.


Moscow kept pointing out the Minsk Protocol. It stipulates otherwise. First, elections in Donbass and only then will there be closed borders. Putin said if Ukraine gained control over the border then the Srebrenica massacre could happen again.
